Welcome to the official website of Science and Engineering Research Centre (SERC), Universiti Sains Malaysia. SERC is a material testing and analysis center located in the USM Engineering Campus, Nibong Tebal, Penang. With area of 6,178.23 square meters, various research laboratories and corporate facilities (seminar room and meeting rooms) are available at SERC. SERC provides state-of-the-art instruments (e.g. XPS, HRTEM, FESEM, ICPMS, RAMAN etc.) and technical expertise for sample characterization. In addition, SERC complements the extensive industry and academia collaborators, which to drive high-impact research outcomes and academic excellence.
