Our laboratory is equipped with the LAMBDA 1050+ UV/Vis/NIR Spectrophotometer by PerkinElmer, a high-performance instrument used to measure the absorbance, transmittance, and reflectance of materials across the ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared regions (175–3300 nm).
The system operates based on light interaction with matter, where the intensity of transmitted light is compared to the incident light to determine optical properties. It is widely used for analyzing coatings, optical materials, and advanced materials due to its high sensitivity and wide wavelength range.
With advanced accessories such as integrating spheres and dual monochromators, the instrument provides accurate and reproducible results for both transparent and highly absorbing samples.
