CHEMICAL ANALYSIS
Chemical analysis is a body of procedures and techniques used to identify and quantify the chemical composition of a sample of a substance such as determination of chemical identity, composition quality and impurities, detection of trace organic compounds and metals, and identification of residues.
The instrument methods include using high technology instruments such as spectrometers and chromatographs as follows:
- Gas Chromatography with Mass-Spectroscopy (GC-MS)
- Inductive Coupled Plasma Mass-Spectroscopy (ICP-MS)
- Gas Chromatography (GC)
- High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
- Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS)
