VISIT BY FELDA GLOBAL VENTURE (FGV)

February 29, 2024 – The Science and Engineering Research Center (SERC) welcomed a visit from En Noor Hisham Hamid, CEO of Felda Global Venture (FGV) in the Development and Research (R&D) division. Accompanying the visit were representatives from the School of Biological Sciences, Main Campus, USM, led by Dr. Chee Jiun Yee.

The delegation received a comprehensive overview of the state-of-the-art machines and equipment available in the laboratory, along with the extensive range of services provided by SERC. This visit, led by Pn Nur Ezzah Abdul Kahar, SERC Research Officer, aimed to showcase the centre’s capabilities and offer an in-depth tour of the testing and analysis equipment laboratories, featuring applications in microscopy, thermal analysis, X-ray analysis, and more.
