Raman Spectroscopy Workshop 2023 SERC

7th March 2023 – A total of 30 participants consisting of postgraduate students, researcher and industry person participated in the Raman Spectroscopy workshop organized by Science and Engineering Research Centre (SERC). This workshop was held for one day in the seminar room, SERC. 

The speaker for this workshop are Mr. Patrick Lam, Business Development Manager from Renishaw Hong Kong and Mr. Melvin Wong, Product and Technical Manager from Crest Analytic Sdn. Bhd. Puchong, Selangor. In the morning there was talk regarding the Research Excellency with Raman Spectroscopy by Mr. Patrick and Recent and Common Applications in Raman by Mr. Melvin. While in the afternoon, the participants were taken to the SERC Raman Laboratory for practical and discussion session. Participants who bring samples are given an offer of free test on that day.
