SEMINAR: APPLICATIONS AND DEMONSTRATION OF BENCHTOP AND HIGH RESOLUTION XRD

On January 16, 2024, an insightful seminar on 'Applications and Demonstration of Benchtop and High Resolution XRD' was jointly organized by RGS Corporation Sdn. Bhd, Rigaku Corporation, and the Science and Engineering Research Center (SERC) at the SERC Seminar Room. A total of 32 participants, including students and staff from USM, attended this seminar.

The seminar featured Mr. Takahiro Kuzumaki, specialist in powder XRD in Rigaku Corporation. Mr Kuzumaki delivered an insightful presentation on how to use the different combination of XRD attachment to collect the best data in various applications using XRD spectrometer. Participants had the opportunity to witness live demonstrations of the equipment both in person and online, facilitated by their company representatives in Japan.

Feedback from the participants has been highly positive, and it is hoped that the organization of such beneficial seminars can continue in the future.
